In tonight’s hour-long Coronation Street, Lisa tries to breathe new life into Theo’s murder investigation<\/a> \u2013 but Kit also struggles to turn his back on the case.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, it’s confession time for Christina as she tells her loved ones what she’s been hiding from them.<\/p>\n

1. Maria says too much to Kit\"maria<\/p>\n

Kit is disappointed when his work bosses remove him<\/a> from Theo’s murder investigation, ordering him to prioritise other cases instead. Lisa won’t be going it alone, though, as her colleague McLaughlin<\/a> will be assisting her instead.<\/p>\n

Despite his setback, Kit struggles to let go of the investigation \u2013 and he’s intrigued when Maria vents to him about how much of a liar Gary is! Will Kit continue to find a way to pursue Gary and find out what he’s hiding?<\/p>\n

2. Lisa questions Todd’s mysterious change\"todd<\/p>\n

Lisa tries to give the investigation some fresh momentum by once again questioning Maria about the alibi that she provided for Gary.<\/p>\n

When Lisa mentions to Todd that the case has reached a stalemate, she’s baffled by his nonplussed reaction when he’d previously been eager to see the killer brought to justice. Viewers know that Todd is now covering for Sarah, but will Lisa figure this out?<\/p>\n

3. Cassie is blackmailed\"cassie<\/p>\n

Tyrone’s biological dad Ross<\/a> turns up to meet him \u2013 a surprise organised by Hope and Ruby, who tracked him down via a DNA website.<\/p>\n

The mechanic insists he doesn’t need a long-lost dad after coping without one for so long. However, Ross soon turns nasty by blackmailing Cassie \u2013 she needs to convince Ty to change his mind, or he’ll expose her recent drunken antics at the hotel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

4. Christina confesses\"george<\/p>\n

George is livid to find Christina secretly meeting up with her ex-husband Lenny. It turns out that this is no affair, though \u2013 Christina fraudulently took out a credit card in Lenny’s name and he found out.<\/p>\n

Feeling sheepish, Christina confesses that she pulled the same trick using Mary and Glenda’s names, but she blames her spending addiction. Will George stand by her?<\/p>\n

5. Adam is drawn into mouldgate\"sally<\/p>\n

Adam is summoned to the Rovers for a meeting with Abi and Sally, who want him to get on board with suing Idris following the mould scandal at Abi’s flat<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Conscious of how badly this affected Abi’s son Alfie, will Adam agree to get involved even though Idris is Alya’s cousin?<\/p>\n
