Steve Harvey is mourning the death of his father-in-law, James Bridges Sr.<\/p>\n

The comedian took to his Instagram handle to pay a touching tribute to his father-in-law, who passed away on June 1.<\/p>\n

“Yesterday we buried one of the best men I\u2019ve ever met, James Bridges Sr., Marjorie\u2019s father,” Steve penned alongside a photo of his father-in-law. “But to me, Pop Bridges.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Family Feud host also expressed his gratitude toward James for being an “example of faith, fatherhood, and family.”<\/p>\n

As he shared the tribute, Steve’s friends and fans rushed to the comment section to offer their prayers and condolences.<\/p>\n

“Oh, I\u2019m so sorry to hear this. Such a beautiful man sending our condolences to you and your family,” 21 Jump Street alum Holly Robinson Peete penned.<\/p>\n

“God bless you [a]nd your family my friend,” commented Chrisley Knows Best star Todd Chrisley.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, one fan expressed grief over the heartbreaking loss.<\/p>\n
