{"id":544532,"date":"2026-07-11T13:46:28","date_gmt":"2026-07-11T13:46:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/544532\/"},"modified":"2026-07-11T13:46:28","modified_gmt":"2026-07-11T13:46:28","slug":"tui-to-operate-new-route-from-cork-next-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/544532\/","title":{"rendered":"TUI to operate new route from Cork next summer\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"contextmenu internal_Body1st\">TUI airline will operate a new route from\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.echolive.ie\/corknews\/arid-41852718.html\">Cork Airport<\/a> to Palma Airport in Majorca from next summer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">The flight will run every Tuesday, from May 18 until August 31 in 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">TUI customers will have an opportunity to sail with Marella Cruises from Palma, the Mediterranean home port for Marella and from where a range of Mediterranean sailings depart.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">Several itineraries will stop at iconic destinations across Spain, France, and Italy, before returning to Palma.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Seven-night and 14-night beach\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.echolive.ie\/wow\/arid-41875334.html\">holidays<\/a> to Majorca are available as part of the new Cork-to-Palma service.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">TUI\u2019s head of Ireland, Katrina Barry, said they are delighted to introduce the Cork-to-Majorca service from Cork for summer 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">\u201cPalma is a key port for Marella Cruises and this route provides fantastic opportunities to explore some of the Mediterranean\u2019s most iconic destinations,\u201d said Tara Finn, head of aviation business development and communications at Cork Airport.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">\n            \u201cMediterranean cruise holidays remain incredibly popular with Irish consumers and make for fantastic holidays.\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">\u201cTUI is a valued partner and we\u2019re delighted to see the popular tour operator return to Cork Airport for next year\u2019s summer season,\u201d Ms Finn said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"TUI airline will operate a new route from\u00a0Cork Airport to Palma Airport in Majorca from next summer.
