Lewis Capaldi<\/a> brought out Sam Fender<\/a> for a rendition of \u2018Rein Me In\u2019 at his massive headline show at BST Hyde Park<\/a> \u2013 check out footage below.<\/p>\n

The Scottish singer-songwriter topped the bill at the London concert series last night (July 11), storming through fan-favourites like \u2018Before You Go\u2019, \u2018Someone You Loved and \u2018Bruises\u2019.<\/p>\n

He later brought out surprise guest Fender, who he said had done \u201csome incredible things\u201d of late, like \u201cbecoming the longest-running British number one of all time, [playing] stadiums around the world, most importantly, [being] a dear, dear close friend of mine.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two launched into Fender and Olivia Dean<\/a>\u2018s smash hit \u2018Rein Me In\u2019, which, as Capaldi noted, recently made history by becoming the longest-running British Number One single of all time<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The two artists officially released the collaborative version<\/a>\u00a0of the\u00a0\u2018People Watching\u2019<\/a>\u00a0track last summer, after\u00a0they performed it live together at Fender\u2019s shows in London<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Newcastle<\/a> \u2013 and fans are now clamouring for a Capaldi version to be officially released.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Capaldi opened up about his friendship with\u00a0Fender\u00a0and\u00a0Fontaines D.C.<\/a>\u00a0frontman\u00a0Grian Chatten<\/a>, saying they both inspired him to take more creative risks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Fender and Chatten] talk about music as art \u2013 and I know this sounds fucking mental coming from someone who is also a musician \u2013 but they really fucking care about everything they\u2019re putting out,\u201d he said,<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is so inspiring. What they have instilled in me is to really take time [in the studio], and start properly giving a fuck about what I\u2019m saying and what the songs sound like.\u201d<\/p>\n

The group also jokingly refer to themselves as \u201cThe Syndicate\u201d, and last summer\u00a0were spotted hanging out together in Mayo, Ireland<\/a>, and even went on a 90-minute cruise together along the Galway-Mayo border.<\/p>\n
