Speaking midway through their main stage set on Saturday (July 11), Talbot declared to the Basque Country crowd: \u201cThanks for making us feel so at home and so loved so far from home. It\u2019s a dream to share a stage with one of the main reasons I\u2019m in a band \u2013 Interpol and [Interpol\u2019s touring member] Matt from The Walkmen<\/a>. It\u2019s a huge privilege and a fucking dream.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier that afternoon, Interpol had played the same stage, bringing the festival to a close alongside a headline performance from Spanish rapper Dellafuente, plus sets across the site from Lily Allen<\/a>, HorsegiirL<\/a>, Italo-disco duo Mind Enterprises and more.<\/p>\n IDLES opened their set with a blistering new song, \u2018Levitator\u2019 \u2013 a hint towards their forthcoming sixth LP that the group have been starting their shows with throughout the summer.<\/a><\/p>\n The track finds Talbot calling out \u201cracist c**ts\u201d before unleashing its chorus call to arms: \u201cViolence is majestic, coming from a righteous rage\/ Violence is majestic when you\u2019re coming of age.\u201d<\/p>\n Last month, guitarist Mark Bowen revealed to NME that the band were well underway with writing their \u201cmost exciting\u201d album yet<\/a>, and hinted that they were looking to go back to the sound of their earlier material for album six.<\/p>\n \u201cWe got back in the studio to write, and we\u2019ve kinda gone \u2013 I don\u2019t want to say back to basics because that\u2019s cliche \u2013 but it\u2019s a bit back to basics!\u201d he told NME, speaking on the red carpet at the Ivor Novello Awards where he was nominated alongside Florence Welch<\/a> for Best Song Musically and Lyrically with the title track to Florence + The Machine\u2019s<\/a> latest album \u2018Everybody Scream<\/a>\u2019.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s five members in a room thrashing it out on instruments. Lots of arguments, [which is great because] if it\u2019s too nice, then it\u2019s not sick.
