Irish football legend Paul McGrath has been enjoying some time in Waterford.<\/p>\n
The former Republic of Ireland defender and ex-Waterford FC Director of Football paid a visit to the spectacular Mahon Falls in the Comeragh Mountains over the weekend, taking in one of the county\u2019s best known beauty spots.<\/p>\n
McGrath, who earned 83 caps for Ireland during an illustrious international career, appeared to make the most of the sunshine as he explored the scenic location.<\/p>\n
The 66-year-old remains one of Ireland\u2019s most celebrated footballers, having starred for clubs including Manchester United and Aston Villa, while becoming a hero to generations of Irish supporters.<\/p>\n
McGrath also has close ties to Waterford, having previously served as Director of Football at Waterford FC.<\/p>\n
His visit comes as the county continues to enjoy warm summer weather, with Mahon Falls proving a popular destination for walkers and visitors throughout the season.<\/p>\n
