Charity Dingle’s hopes of justice are crushed on Emmerdale next week, when she learns the authorities won’t be taking her case against Dr Todd<\/a> any further. However, the news leaves Charity’s loved ones desperate to stop the twisted medic getting away with her crimes.<\/p>\n

Yet while Mackenzie Boyd and Vanessa Woodfield go digging for evidence, Charity comes face to face with someone who could prove crucial in the case \u2013 another of Todd’s victims\u2026<\/p>\n

“This could be the breakthrough Charity needs,” explains our Dales insider. \u201cShe’s found someone who can corroborate her story by highlighting Todd’s history of abusive behaviour and finally give her a fighting chance of taking on the malevolent medic.<\/p>\n

“But if this woman, Helen, hasn’t spoken out thus far about what Todd did to her, will she really be willing to get embroiled in Charity’s battle?”<\/p>\n

As the week begins, Charity feels despondent after learning that the CPS won’t take her case any further. Seeing how down Charity is and furious at the thought of Todd getting away with her heinous actions, Mack and Vanessa decide to play Todd at her own game, as they start scheming to find a way to expose her.<\/p>\n

Remembering the way Todd bullied and manipulated Jacob Sugden<\/a> at Hotten General, the pair reckon that the hospital might be a good place to start digging up some dirt on Todd.<\/p>\n

So, roping in Jacob to help, Vanessa manages to get a meeting with HR at the hospital. But will they be able to persuade the HR rep, Carol, to reveal anything that could help their cause?<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, when Charity gets wind of what Vanessa is up to, she heads off to find her. However, when she arrives at the hospital she finds Vanessa with a nurse, Helen, and soon realises that she too has been a victim of Todd’s terrible actions.<\/p>\n

“At first, it’s clear that this woman really doesn’t want to talk,” continues our spy. “However, Charity realises this is someone who could really help, so summoning up all her strength, she quietly reveals the fact that Todd raped her.<\/p>\n

“Helen’s reaction shows that Charity’s words have clearly struck a chord. Charity can only hope that opening up to Helen will see her do the same in return. This woman could be the key to moving her case forward, but will Helen find the strength to help?”<\/p>\n

Charity has been to hell and back in recent weeks, but now she may finally have some hope. <\/p>\n
