Singer-songwriter’s third album Lost Weekend arrives next month<\/p>\n
\n\tExactly one month before Phoebe Bridgers<\/a> releases her new album Lost Weekend<\/a>, the singer-songwriter stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a surprise performance of \u201cLost Boys<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tBridgers appeared on stage alongside a band of young musicians ranging in age from eight to 14 years old. \u201cOn a motorbike, doing 90 in a 55,\u201d she sang. \u201cTo another life\/Where they make you cut your hair.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cLost Boys\u201d released late last month and was produced by Bridgers, Jack Antonoff, and Bridgers\u2019 longtime collaborators Tony Berg and Ethan Gruska, with additional production by Alex G; her boygenius <\/a>bandmates Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker provided backing vocals. The song\u2019s video, featuring Bridgers at a Renaissance faire, also starred actor Skyler Gisondo as a gas station cashier.<\/p>\n \n\tLost Weekend, Bridgers\u2019 third solo album, arrives Aug. 14 via Dead Oceans. It follows her magnificent breakout album Punisher<\/a>, released in 2020. Bridgers will tour<\/a> in support of the new album, kicking off on Sept. 15 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Just like her recent\u00a0surprise acoustic shows<\/a> \u2014 and sold-out evening at New York\u2019s Madison Square Garden<\/a> in June \u2014 the Lost Tour will be completely phoneless.\u00a0<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tThe tour flyer was shot by fine-art photographer Gregory Crewdson, who gave an exclusive interview<\/a> to Rolling Stone about collaborating with Bridgers. \u201cThere was an alliance there, with a sense of mystery and loneliness, and wanting to make connections about landscape and all that,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s a coming together between Phoebe\u2019s world and my world.\u201d<\/p>\n
