Another summer heatwave is rolling through New York City, with temperatures nearing the triple digits. But that won\u2019t stop Dua Lipa<\/a> from breaking out her heavy-duty boots.<\/p>\n

For a recording session at Electric Lady Studios yesterday, Lipa kept things summer-chic in a delicate black lace-trimmed slip dress from Chlo\u00e9<\/a>. The look felt even more fun and carefree with her accessories: a chunky belt, a banana yellow Schiaparelli<\/a> hobo bag, and layered long necklaces with bottle and heart-shaped pendants.<\/p>\n

But the singer gave her boho outfit a biker edge. A noted fan of the bandana kerchief<\/a>, she tied a navy paisley scarf around her head. And, in place of a pair of earthy sandals, Lipa instead opted for chunky black hardware-laden motorcycle boots<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lipa is no stranger to a summer stomper, and she\u2019s especially fond of this pair of Miu Miu<\/a> biker boots. Last summer, for the Sunny Hill Festival in Kosovo, she wore the boots with a pair of denim cutoffs, a festival tee worn as a muscle tank, and a Western belt.<\/p>\n

So take it from Dua Lipa: there are endless ways to incorporate a chunky boot into your summer style.
