British avant-techno producer Actress<\/a> has returned with his first new solo album in two years. Radical Frame is out September 18 via Ninja Tune<\/a>. He\u2019s also sharing the new single \u201cOverchord\u201d with a trippy music video by Anna van der Velde<\/a> featuring a series of white rooms with a puppeteering contraption, deconstructed sculptures, and hundreds of pieces of paper flying around. Radical Frame is Darren Cunningham\u2019s 10th solo studio album under his Actress moniker, excluding 2018\u2019s Lageos with the London Contemporary Orchestra and his collaborative album with Suzanne Ciani<\/a>, Concr\u00e8te Waves<\/a>, from earlier this year. The eight-song tracklist includes two guest features: CasIsDead on the previously released single \u201cLive by You<\/a>,\u201d and Rainy Miller on the album closer \u201cSheets.\u201d<\/p>\n

In November, Actress will perform at Pitchfork Music Festival London<\/a>. This year\u2019s lineup<\/a> boasts Avalanches, Ear, Tortoise, Aja Monet, Los Thuthanaka, Olof Dreijer, Tortoise, Noname, Radio Dept, and many more. Tickets are on sale now<\/a>.<\/p>\n
