The new version arrives ahead of Lost Weekend, Bridgers’ first solo album in six years.<\/p>\n

Phoebe Bridges<\/a> has released the acoustic version of her latest single ‘Lost Boys’ following consecutive performances of both versions of the track on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The release comes ahead of Bridgers’ third studio album, Lost Weekend, which was announced<\/a> last month and was followed by ‘Lost Boys’ the following day. The album is set for release on August 14 via Dead Oceans.<\/p>\n

It marks Bridgers’ first solo album since 2020’s Punisher, following a period in which she focused on collaborative projects, including boygenius<\/a>‘ Grammy-winning 2023 debut album the record alongside Julien Baker<\/a> and Lucy Dacus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bridgers made two surprise appearances on the programme this week, marking the television debuts of ‘Lost Boys’ and ‘Lost Boys (Acoustic)’. The original version was performed with a band made up entirely of children aged between eight and 14, while the acoustic rendition featured a group of veteran musicians.<\/p>\n

Lost Weekend arrives after a busy period for the four-time Grammy winner, whose recently announced<\/a> North American and UK arena tour sold out within hours.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, she also staged<\/a> a series of surprise pop-up performances across the United States, culminating in a sold-out headline show at New York’s Madison Square Garden.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the album’s release, Bridgers has also announced more than 300 midnight listening parities around the world, giving fans the opportunity to hear Lost Weekend before its official release on August 14.<\/p>\n
