\n\tAhead of the upcoming \u201cPower<\/a> Book III: Raising Kanan\u201d series finale, \u201cPower: Origins<\/a>\u201d has released first look images with the actors portraying young Ghost and young Tommy.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpence Moore<\/a> (\u201cCreed III,\u201d \u201cAll American\u201d) will play Ghost, while Charlie Mann<\/a> (\u201cPrimate,\u201d \u201cThe Watchers\u201d) will play Tommy, debuting the young versions of the characters originated by Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora in the original \u201cPower\u201d series. \u201cOrigins\u201d will tell Ghost, Tommy and Kanan\u2019s origin stories as young ambitious entrepreneurs on the rise, with Mekai Curtis reprising his role as Kanan.<\/p>\n

\n\tStarz has also released a first teaser for the new series, which can be seen below. <\/p>\n

\n\tProduced by Lionsgate Television for Starz, \u201cPower: Origins\u201d is the fourth spinoff in the series. It received an 18-episode order, and will be followed by the recently greenlit \u201cPower: Legacy\u201d series<\/a> with Joseph Sikora and Michael Rainey Jr. starring. \u201cOrigins\u201d was created by Courtney A. Kemp (who created the \u201cPower\u201d series) and Sascha Penn (\u201cPower Book III: Raising Kanan\u201d). Penn serves as showrunner and executive producer.<\/p>\n

\n\tCurtis \u201c50 Cent\u201d Jackson executive producers under his G-Unit Film and Television banner, while Mark Canton executive produces under his Canton Entertainment banner. Additional executive producers include Chris Selak (\u201cRude Awakening\u201d), Kevin Fox (\u201cLaw & Order: Special Victims Unit\u201d) and Pete Chatmon (\u201cYellowjackets\u201d), who is set to direct six episodes.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOrigins\u201d is currently in production in New Jersey, while the series finale of \u201cPower Book III: Raising Kanan\u201d Season 5 will air Aug. 7 on Starz. Previous spinoff series include \u201cPower Book II: Ghost,\u201d \u201cPower Book III: Raising Kanan\u201d and \u201cPower Book IV: Force.\u201d Starz also recently greenlit the spinoff \u201cPower: Legacy,\u201d<\/a> which will star Joseph Sikora and Michael Rainey Jr., the latter of whom starred in \u201cPower Book II: Ghost.\u201d <\/p>\n
