Expelled Congressman and former politician George Santos is defending himself and his Special Forces co-stars from all the criticism following their casting announcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Santos took to social media to address the hate he and co-stars Brandi Glanville and Candace Cameron Bure have been receiving after it was revealed they would be starring in the Fox competition series.<\/p>\n

“To all the haters talking about me being fat, or @BrandiGlanville skin and wishing ill on @candacecbure amongst the other mean horrible things in the comment section\u2026,” Santos posted on X<\/a>, the microblogging platform formerly known as Twitter.<\/p>\n

He continued, “You could not walk a day in any of our shoes\u2026 we are humans, we put ourselves out there and we have thick skin, now I can handle banter, but vicious vile mean comments are uncalled for\u2026 go step on grass and then watch us all thrive taking on an insane challenge and kicking ass!”<\/p>\n

In another post on X<\/a>, Santos said, “OMG internet yes I’m fat. lol,” and followed up with another one<\/a> where he said, “You gonna see this fat boy move like no skinny person could ever lol.”<\/p>\n

Prior to responding to the criticism, Santos had shared with his followers<\/a> he would be starring in Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test where he said, “You guys I did a thing and I’m excited to share it with y’all! This experience changed my perspective in life and it was the most humbling thing I’ve ever done!”<\/p>\n

A follow-up post where he shared his portrait read, “I took my fat behind off the couch and tried something new! And it changed EVERYTHING! I can’t wait to share this experience with y’all!”<\/p>\n
