{"id":554152,"date":"2026-07-17T09:38:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-17T09:38:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/554152\/"},"modified":"2026-07-17T09:38:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T09:38:08","slug":"connoisseur-media-begins-san-jose-signals-moves-story","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/554152\/","title":{"rendered":"Connoisseur Media Begins San Jose Signals Moves. | Story"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insideradio.com\/free\/kbay-brand-to-remain-as-connoisseur-sells-94-5-frequency-to-k-love\/article_65c9b41c-7525-40d9-9c23-f049396567de.html\" target=\"_Blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">announced sale<\/a> of the KBAY-FM (94.5) San Jose signal to K-Love Inc. for $2 million, Connoisseur Media is moving the \u201cK-Bay Country\u201d brand up the dial to 98.5.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBig news, Bay Country 94.5 is moving to 98.5 FM starting Wednesday, 7\/22 at Noon,\u201d the station <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/KBAYCountry\/posts\/1019590037478468\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">posted on Facebook<\/a>. \u201cSave your preset to 98.5 San Jose or 92.1 East Bay &amp; take Bay Country with you anywhere by downloading the Bay Country app.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The signal is currently home to classic rock \u201c98.5 K-Fox\u201d KUFX, which is alerting listeners to its move to 98.5 HD2 and KMVQ-HD3 (99.7), also effective July 22 at 12pm PT. \u201cK-Bay Country\u201d currently airs on KBAY-FM and KKDV Walnut Creek, CA (92.1).<\/p>\n<p>KUFX was picked up as part of Connoisseur Media\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insideradio.com\/free\/done-deal-connoisseur-cements-bay-area-presence\/article_f62b8988-4b9a-4e49-b0ae-60f757f4b847.html\" target=\"_Blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">$10 million purchase<\/a> of Bonneville\u2019s San Francisco cluster \u2013 AC KOIT (96.5), urban AC KBLX (102.9), and CHR \u201c99.7 Now\u201d KMVQ, which gave the Jeff Warshaw-led company a major presence in market No. 6.<\/p>\n<p>Connoisseur also owns hot AC \u201cMix 106.5\u201d KEZR in San Jose, along with AC KUIC (95.3) and AC KKIQ (101.7) in the East Bay, giving it a strong foothold in Northern California.<\/p>\n<p>The K-Love deal, which is subject to FCC approval, is expected to close in early fall.
