\n\tIt\u2019s Gracie Abrams<\/a>\u2019 week, and we\u2019re just living in it. The U.S. pop artist today dropped<\/a> Daughter From Hell, her third studio effort and the followup to 2024\u2019s The Secret of Us, which went all the way to No. 2 on the Billboard 200<\/a>\u00a0chart.<\/p>\n

\n\tOne of its 16 tracks is \u201cMinibar,\u201d which Abrams and her full band performed late Thursday on NBC<\/a>\u2018s The Tonight Show<\/a> Starring Jimmy Fallon, a delicious entr\u00e9e to her full album.<\/p>\n

\n\tFor the debut TV performance, Abrams slung an acoustic guitar and got to work with her full band, all of them bathed in a warm red light. Watch below.<\/p>\n

\n\tAbrams also stuck around for a chat with Fallon. Right off the bat, Abrams confirmed she\u2019s about to make her acting debut. \u201cIt\u2019s happening. Yes, I leave very, very shortly,\u201d she said, moving swiftly along before offering more details on what\u2019s reported<\/a> to be an A24 movie from Babygirl director Halina Reijn.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn her new album project, it\u2019s \u201cso cool for me,\u201d he adds. \u201cI feel stoked. It\u2019s been nice to be back with the crew and band. And to kind of just, yeah, reunite. And the people that I made this with, I respect and admire so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAbrams recounted how she freaked out during her 2025 Glastonbury Festival performance when she spotted Paul McCartney on the sidelines (there\u2019s proof, caught on video), a neat segue to her forthcoming The Look at My Life <\/a>tour. As the buzz built, her last tour scaled up to big rooms. This time, however, \u201cwe get the luxury of starting square one, like, wildest dreams kind of stage and design. Yeah, I\u2019m really excited.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAbrams\u00a0will head out on her North America jaunt from Dec. 2 in Denver.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd for the record, the \u201cDaughter From Hell\u201d in that album really is Abrams. \u201cThat song was the last one that I wrote for the album, and it is like a, you know, decades overdue apology to my mom, basically,\u201d she tells Fallon.\u201d No, she wasn\u2019t a monster child. Just a \u201cdefiant person,\u201d which can be \u201cturbulent\u201d for mom and dad. \u201cThis is a thank-you note to her.\u201d<\/p>\n
