\n\tPearl Studio<\/a>\u2018s animated comedy \u201cAll Wishes Come True!<\/a>\u201d will expand into international markets this summer following its July 24 China debut. <\/p>\n

\n\tAustralia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea will get the film first, on Aug. 13, with the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland and the Netherlands following on Aug. 14. Belgium and Luxembourg round out the rollout on Sept. 4.<\/p>\n

\n\tPearl Studio, whose credits include \u201cKung Fu Panda 3,\u201d \u201cAbominable\u201d and Oscar nominee \u201cOver the Moon,\u201d produced the film alongside CMC Pictures<\/a>. It is written and directed by Mu Zhengyang and produced by Cao Linlin.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAll Wishes Come True!\u201d reimagines the Chinese folk tale \u201cThe Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea\u201d as a mythological comedy. The story follows eight ordinary mortals, beginning with L\u00fc Dongbin and Zhongli Quan, who disguise themselves as immortals in a bid to break into a legendary vault. Along the way, they recruit six more companions \u2013 He Xiangu, Tieguai Li, Han Xiangzi, Cao Guojiu, Lan Caihe and Zhang Guolao \u2013 and confront a conspiracy that threatens the balance between the mortal and immortal worlds.<\/p>\n

\n\tSu Hang, who won a Hong Kong Film Award for \u201cThe Shadow\u2019s Edge,\u201d designed the film\u2019s action sequences, while Chen Hao, whose credits include \u201cNe Zha,\u201d directed the voice cast.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe release comes as Chinese animation continues to build momentum internationally. \u201cNe Zha 2<\/a>\u201d has taken in upwards of $2.2 billion globally, and the sector\u2019s overseas revenue reached $9.3 billion in 2025.<\/p>\n

\n\tBased in Beijing, Pearl Studio operates as CMC Inc.\u2019s animation arm and ranks among China\u2019s biggest and best-known animation houses internationally. Beyond \u201cKung Fu Panda 3,\u201d \u201cAbominable\u201d and \u201cOver the Moon,\u201d the studio is developing multiple original animated features drawing on traditional Chinese culture for global audiences.<\/p>\n

\n\tCMC Pictures serves as CMC Inc.\u2019s film division, covering development, production, investment, marketing and distribution.
