Coronation Street’s Ryan Connor gets tough with Dylan Wilson next week amid the ongoing rows about who caused Betsy Swain’s health crisis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As Dylan continues to scramble for other explanations, Ryan steps in and urges him to face reality.<\/p>\n

The ITV soap has aired harrowing scenes this week as Betsy was rushed to hospital after being found unconscious by Ryan at No.6.<\/p>\n

It was later revealed that Betsy had suffered two strokes, caused by a blood clot due to damage to an artery in her neck.<\/p>\n

Betsy revealed that she and Dylan had made the decision to experiment with strangulation during sex, unaware of the health risks involved.<\/p>\n

In tonight’s episode, though, Dylan desperately searches for a way to absolve himself of any blame \u2013 even speculating that Betsy could have cheated on him with Brody Michaelis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Dylan is still confused about how Betsy collapsed so long after they were in bed together,” explains our Corrie source. “He knows that Brody was with Betsy the next morning, which was much closer to Betsy’s health scare.<\/p>\n

“However, doctors have already confirmed that it can take a while for serious symptoms to present themselves in cases such as these, so Dylan’s argument is a non-starter.”<\/p>\n

Next week, Ryan tells Dylan some home truths, which finally cause the teen to question his part in what happened to Betsy.<\/p>\n

The next day, a remorseful Dylan visits Betsy and tells her that he now accepts responsibility.<\/p>\n

“Dylan tells Betsy that he couldn’t be more sorry about her ordeal,” adds our insider. “Shortly afterwards, the police arrive to take Betsy’s statement.<\/p>\n

“Dylan is terrified by what could happen, but makes himself scarce while his girlfriend talks to the police. But what will Betsy tell the officers?”<\/p>\n

Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX<\/a>.<\/p>\n
