Happiness Anytime, out September 25 via Columbia, is preceded today by \u201cLight the Way,\u201d \u201cTears of Joy,\u201d \u201cIllusion,\u201d and \u201cYour Love Is Electric.\u201d Listen to all four below.<\/p>\n<p>Bridges\u2019 follow-up to 2024\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/reviews\/albums\/leon-bridges-leon\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Leon<\/a> is produced by J Lloyd-Watson and Lydia Kitto of British trio <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/32384-jungle\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jungle<\/a>. Bassist Pino Palladino joined them in the studio.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, Bridges said, \u201cFor me, happiness is not a feeling that you chase. I want this album to be something that lingers with people and lingers in people&#8217;s bones. There\u2019s this feeling that we have to fix the problems of the world; you feel inadequate or it can be debilitating. My role is to be light.
