Brazil midfielder Ederson has signed a contract extension at Atalanta after the collapse of his proposed move to Manchester United.<\/p>\n
The Old Trafford club had agreed a \u00a335m fee for the 27-year-old on 2 June.<\/p>\n
A plan for him to have a medical at the start of July had to be scrapped when Ederson received a late call-up for his country’s World Cup squad following an injury to Wesley.<\/p>\n
He eventually underwent a full medical after initial tests in the United States flagged an area of concern.<\/p>\n
