I have no interest in picking a fight with Tom Holland<\/a>. The man is Spider-Man, one of my favorite Marvel characters, and he seems incredibly charming out of costume. But even heroes have blind spots, and apparently Holland\u2019s is corn dogs<\/a>.<\/p>\n During a Complex interview with his Odyssey co-star Matt Damon<\/a>, Holland was asked to name the worst American food out there. Before choosing violence, he made one thing clear: \u201cI like American food, though,\u201d Holland said.<\/p>\n And listen, I believe him. He didn\u2019t just wander across the pond yesterday, and he quickly names both brisket<\/a> and barbecue as American foods he enjoys.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s all great,\u201d Damon agreed.<\/p>\n But then Holland got to the one food he apparently cannot support.<\/p>\n \u201cYou know what I don\u2019t love?\u201d Holland said. \u201cCorn dogs.\u201d<\/p>\n And he actually sounded personally offended by the concept.<\/p>\n \u201cBecause what the f*ck is that?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n Damon, instead of defending the honor of America\u2019s battered hot dog, fully joined him.<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t say that I disagree with you,\u201d Damon said. \u201cI never got it even as a kid.\u201d<\/p>\n
