\n\tJim Parsons<\/a> recently told the \u201cAll Out with Jon Dean\u201d podcast (via People<\/a>) that he was \u201cmiserable\u201d during the height of his long-running TBS sitcom \u201cThe Big Bang Theory<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI look back now and realize that there were many ways, at some of the best moments of my life, I was miserable,\u201d Parsons said. \u201cI was not happy. I was stressed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe added, \u201cI felt that there was so many plates I was supposed to be keeping in the air and that the success and the good things of life that were happening were only due to this overworking\u2026 discipline and whatever. Maybe to a degree that was true. I don\u2019t know. I can\u2019t say because that\u2019s how I was.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDespite the overwhelming success of \u201cThe Big Bang Theory,\u201d Parsons said he wouldn\u2019t relive it \u201cfor any amount of money.\u201d He went on to acknowledge that the role \u201cis not going away,\u201d but since the show wrapped in 2019, he\u2019s been \u201cchanging my relationship to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s evolving, and it gets better all the time. What I feel is better, what I feel is healthier. It\u2019s not something that I think probably anybody, but I was certainly not equipped to, looking back,\u201d Parsons explained.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Big Bang Theory\u201d ran for 279 episodes from 2007 to 2019, and followed the misadventures of a group of socially awkward science geeks and their much cooler female neighbors. Parsons starred alongside Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik.
