<\/p>\nDamian’s Lewis’ psychological thriller The Runner has unveiled an official trailer, ahead of its upcoming release. The movie will arrive on Amazon’s Prime Video on 2 September, streaming globally. <\/p>\n
Described as “pulse-pounding”, The Runner centres around “sharp, resourceful, high-powered” lawyer Maia Marten, who has risen to the top of her field at a successful London law firm. <\/p>\n
However, her perfect and precise life is turned upside down when she receives a devastating phone call telling her that her son has been taken. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, How to Get Away with Murder’s Alfred Enoch and young actor Rory Wilmot also feature. <\/p>\n In the newly released trailer, we get a glimpse of Maia’s structured daily routine, starting with her dropping her son Noah off at school. Soon she is forced on a journey, controlled by the man on the other end of the line, who is acting on behalf of his mysterious boss. <\/p>\n “Today your star witness is going to testify against my employer.
