Matty Healy<\/a> and Gabbriette Bechtel got married at a ceremony in Los Angeles this weekend.<\/p>\n

The 1975<\/a> frontman and former\u00a0Nasty Cherry<\/a> musician and model Gabbriette tied the knot on Saturday (July 18) in a star-studded ceremony at Castillo del Lago \u2013 Madonna<\/a>\u2018s former estate in Los Angeles \u2013 according to Just Jared<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Videos circulating on social media show the newlyweds kissing at the altar and posing for photographs at the Spanish Colonial Revival Mansion in the Hollywood Hills. Their guests included Charli XCX<\/a> and her husband, George Daniel<\/a> \u2013 also Healy\u2019s bandmate \u2013 as well as Anastasia Karanikolaou, Fai Khadra, Alex Consani, Devon Lee Carlson and her fianc\u00e9, Duke Nicholson, Sydney Lynn Carlson, Tyrell Hampton, Alex O\u2019Connor, and Quenlin Blackwell.<\/p>\n

Prior to their wedding, Healy performed at his own Malibu stag do with a 1975 tribute band<\/a>, with footage showing the frontman\u00a0singing along to \u2018The Sound\u2019 with the tribute band, before requesting his doppelg\u00e4nger join him on stage.<\/p>\n

Healy and Gabbriette confirmed their engagement at a Charli XCX show in 2024<\/a>. His mother,\u00a0Denise Welch, later said she\u2019d \u201cknown for a few weeks that Matty got engaged\u201d<\/a>. She added: \u201cWe couldn\u2019t be happier, she is everything that I would want in a daughter-in-law.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for The 1975, the band have told fans that two albums are in the works.<\/a>\u00a0One of those albums will be called \u2018DOGS\u2019, a word the band\u00a0mysteriously flashed<\/a>\u00a0at the end of their\u00a0giant Glastonbury headline performance<\/a>\u00a0last year.<\/p>\n

After confirming \u2018DOGS\u2019 was the name of an album, he added: \u201cWe made two. It might be one, it might be two\u2026 but yeah, we\u2019ve made two albums\u201d.<\/p>\n

The band\u2019s manager Jamie Oborne has also previously that\u00a0The 1975\u2019s new record would be \u201cpretty extraordinary\u201d<\/a>, sharing: \u201cI don\u2019t know when it will come out, but they\u2019re making one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s already a pretty extraordinary record\u201d, he added, continuing to say that he has a \u201cconstant discourse about it\u201d with the band. \u201cI think they\u2019ve earned the right to take their time. The world\u2019s gonna be listening, so it needs to be right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the band\u2019s last record \u2018Being Funny In A Foreign Language\u2019 dropped in 2022.\u00a0NME\u00a0gave it four stars<\/a>\u00a0and declared them \u201cback to their very best\u201d.<\/p>\n
