{"id":558555,"date":"2026-07-20T06:18:29","date_gmt":"2026-07-20T06:18:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/558555\/"},"modified":"2026-07-20T06:18:29","modified_gmt":"2026-07-20T06:18:29","slug":"nabard-nsdc-launch-gramodyam-to-support-4000-rural-entrepreneurs-in-three-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/558555\/","title":{"rendered":"NABARD, NSDC launch Gramodyam to support 4,000 rural entrepreneurs in three years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and the National Skill Development Corporation (<a href=\"https:\/\/indianstartupnews.com\/tag\/NSDC\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NSDC<\/a>) have launched Gramodyam, a programme designed to help young people establish businesses in rural India.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisment<a href=\"https:\/\/theindiandream.club\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/desktop-728-x-90-1-2026-06-17-17-20-35.png\" style=\"object-fit: cover;width:728px;height:90px;\" alt=\"banner\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The initiative was unveiled by NABARD Chairman Shaji K V during the institution\u2019s 45th Foundation Day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Gramodyam is being implemented in collaboration with NSDC under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and <a href=\"https:\/\/indianstartupnews.com\/tag\/Entrepreneurship\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Entrepreneurship<\/a>. The Institute for Industrial Development will deliver the programme.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">It will provide aspiring entrepreneurs with industry-relevant skills, entrepreneurship training, mentoring, business-planning assistance, credit facilitation and access to markets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The programme will use a digital-first hybrid model combining online platforms, social-media engagement, community outreach and on-ground mobilisation across all states and union territories.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Participants will undergo psychometric assessments and counselling, followed by entrepreneurship development and industry-specific training. They will also receive mentoring and support to turn business ideas into operational enterprises.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Gramodyam will help participants identify business opportunities, prepare business plans and develop enterprise-management skills. Support will continue after businesses have been established.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The programme also includes an end-to-end credit facilitation system.
