Several popular Spanish-language radio shows are cornerstones of a new streaming platform that will bring podcasts, music, streaming radio and, eventually, video into a single destination. Spoken-word specialist reVolver Podcasts is teaming with Claro USA to make a bigger play for Spanish-language audio consumers with the launch of Claro M\u00fasica Pulso.<\/p>\n
The audio platform is built on Claro M\u00fasica\u2019s existing subscriber base of more than 500,000 users, with Pulso designed to serve as a centralized hub for Spanish-language entertainment. The platform introduces updated navigation and content discovery tools while expanding beyond music to include podcasts from reVolver, with future plans for additional video and multimedia content.<\/p>\n
The partnership gives Pulso users access to reVolver\u2019s library of Spanish-language podcasts across news, sports, entertainment, business, lifestyle, health, comedy and culture. Featured content includes the on-demand podcast versions of radio shows include \u201cErazno y La Chokolata<\/a>,\u201d \u201cEl Show de Piol\u00edn<\/a>,\u201d \u201cEl Panda Show<\/a>,\u201d and \u201cDon Cheto Al Aire<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAs audiences increasingly seek seamless access to a variety of content formats, Claro M\u00fasica Pulso represents a significant step forward in delivering a richer entertainment experience, for its rapidly expanding base of over 500,000 users,\u201d reVolver President\/CEO Jack Hobbs said. \u201cWe are excited to bring reVolver\u2019s extensive catalog of premium podcasts to the platform and help create an ecosystem where music, spoken word, culture, and storytelling come together in one destination.\u201d<\/p>\n The launch reflects a broader strategy by both companies to position Pulso as more than a music app. The new branding is intended to represent \u201cthe heartbeat of entertainment and culture,\u201d bringing together music, conversations, sports, stories and other multimedia experiences within a unified platform.<\/p>\n To help drive audience adoption, reVolver and Claro M\u00fasica have been tying the platform to one of the year\u2019s biggest sports events as they have rolled out six weeks of exclusive World Cup coverage. The companies launched \u201cThe World Cup from Mexico,\u201d as a dedicated audio destination hosted and curated by veteran Mexican radio broadcaster Jessie Cervantes.<\/p>\n For the tournament\u2019s six-week run, Pulso offered daily match recaps and previews, exclusive interviews with players and soccer legends, music programming powered by Claro M\u00fasica, and contributions from several of reVolver\u2019s best-known personalities.
