Spain secured its second World Cup title with an extra-time goal.<\/p>\n<p>The proud Donegal supporter was Brian Sweeney, who travelled to the occasion with his son Jonathan to cheer on Spain.<\/p>\n<p>Brian moved from Burtonport to Benidorm in 1995 and is well known as the man behind The Shamrock Bar in the popular Spanish resort.<\/p>\n<p>It has been quite a week of football for the Sweeney family. Jonathan plays for Alfaz, who lifted the Costa Blanca Cup just days before the World Cup final.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Cllr Gary Doherty, also enjoyed the moment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpotted a lad with a Donegal top on at the World Cup Final.
