Blessed beyond words. We love you so much baby girl.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/evoke.ie\/2025\/06\/04\/entertainment\/julian-benson-gerard-jordan-rte\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gerard<\/a> and Jo met 12 years ago and are also\u00a0parents\u00a0to Jasper, Hugo, River, Sage, Saint, Zen, Enzo and Halo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8216;I know 25 seems young, but we were very mature in the decision and [knew] what we wanted at that time,&#8217; the TV star told the Irish Independent last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8216;Ever since I became a dad, it&#8217;s not about me anymore, it&#8217;s about them, so I put them first before anything I do. You know yourself, they get sick out of nowhere. You have to be prepared for that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8216;And then it&#8217;s a knock-on effect with the other kids. So you just have to be ready, ready for the unexpected.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8216;If you are going to have a big <a href=\"https:\/\/extra.ie\/2026\/07\/16\/news\/granddad-died-saving-two-kids-drowning\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">family<\/a>, you have to circle your life around the children. It is difficult, but you&#8217;ve got to give up going out with your friends so you can really focus on your kids.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added: &#8216;I have always loved the idea of a full, lively home.
