Coronation Street has shared an update on the whereabouts of Audrey Roberts<\/a> amid Sarah Platt’s murder storyline<\/a>. It was recently revealed that Sarah killed Theo Silverton following months of abuse he levied towards her ex-partner and friend, Todd Grimshaw.<\/p>\n

When Theo and Sarah got into a confrontation, and he acted aggressively towards her, she hit him with a metal pipe<\/a> and sent him falling from scaffolding to his death. She confided the crime to ex Gary Windass<\/a>, who helped her cover it up, but the guilt had been eating her alive, leading her to tell partner Kit Green<\/a> exactly what had happened.<\/p>\n

Tonight’s episode (20 July) finally saw police swoop in and arrest Sarah, but not before viewers were updated on where Sarah’s grandmother Audrey has been after being offscreen for months.<\/p>\n

Ahead of Sarah’s arrest, the Platts gathered to create a birthday message for Audrey while traveling abroad.<\/p>\n

Sarah, Harry, David, and Bethany Platt all sat down to make the video, with David orchestrating the family to send their well wishes for Audrey’s 86th birthday.<\/p>\n

Harry remarked to Bethany that Audrey would be able to “show her new boyfriend” the clip.<\/p>\n

David seemed shocked to find out his grandmother had a new beau, while Bethany asked if the mystery man was “French and rich”, to which David remarked, “What do you think?”<\/p>\n

The comment suggests that Audrey is currently settled down in France, enjoying some peace with her new lover as the Platts face turmoil at home.<\/p>\n

Audrey was last seen on our screens in November 2025, but could Sarah’s arrest and impending murder charge be enough to bring her back to the cobbles?<\/p>\n
