\n\tJosh Lucas<\/a> is set to star opposite Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning in the legal drama series \u201cDiscretion<\/a>,\u201d Variety has confirmed. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe show was originally announced with a straight-to-series order at Paramount+<\/a> in October 2025. It is based on the short story of the same name by Chandler Baker. It has received an eight-episode order with production slated to begin later this year. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe logline for the series states, \u201cLenny (Fanning), a summer associate at a prestigious Dallas law firm, uncovers a web of NDAs masking a dark truth. When she realizes she signed the same agreement, her discoveries put her in the crosshairs of the firm\u2019s most powerful female partner Sharon (Kidman)\u2014upending their mentor-prot\u00e9g\u00e9 dynamic and raising the question: who gets to keep secrets, and at what cost?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLucas will play Greg, who is described as \u201ca lawyer and the husband of Kidman\u2019s powerful and formidable corporate law partner at the same firm entangled in a dark web of NDAs.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tLucas\u2019 recent TV roles include playing a young John Dutton in the hit Paramount Network series \u201cYellowstone\u201d as well as starring in the Apple TV dramedy \u201cPalm Royale.\u201d Earlier in his career, he starred in shows like \u201cThe Firm\u201d and \u201cMysteries of Laura.\u201d He is primarily known for roles in films like \u201cFord v. Ferrari,\u201d \u201cThe Lincoln Lawyer,\u201d \u201cSweet Home Alabama,\u201d \u201cAmerican Psycho,\u201d and more. <\/p>\n

\n\tHe is repped by WME and Liebman Entertainment<\/p>\n

\n\tBaker is writing and executive producing, with both Kidman and Fanning executive producing in addition to starring. Susannah Grant is also attached to executive produce. Kidman is executive producing via Blossom Films with Per Saari, while Fanning, her sister Dakota Fanning, and Brittany Kahan Ward executive produce for Lewellen Pictures. Jordan Cerf of Linden Entertainment and Joe Hipps of Cut To will also executive produce. It will be produced by A24 for Paramount. <\/p>\n
