Fresh off a half-time performance at the World Cup final, Robbie Williams has announced that he’s coming to Munster – but unfortunately he won’t be stopping in Cork.<\/p>\n

However, he’ll be just a coach trip away at Limerick’s Thomond Park next year, bringing his live show RW27 on its only Irish pitstop on July 6, 2027. It follows a sold-out performance at Dublin\u2019s Croke Park in 2025. Here’s all you need to know about tickets for the show:<\/p>\n

The 52-year-old pop icon has still never performed in Cork<\/a>, though a gig at Thomond Park brings him one step closer. Maybe next time.<\/p>\n

It’s easy to forget, but long ago – in the distant mists of the 90s – Robbie Williams was a member of Take That. He toured with the boyband before taking the plunge and launching his own solo career in 1996.<\/p>\n

30 years on, Robbie remains a household name for his 2000s bangers Millennium , Angels , Rock DJ . He briefly rejoined Take That in 2010, before taking off again – under more amicable circumstances than the first time around. Since the mid-2000s, Robbie has experimented with styles on dance\/electro record Rudebox , plus a collab with Dizzee Rascal in 2010.<\/p>\n

In the last 20 years, Robbie has been indulging his love of UFOs, taking a year off from music in 2007 to watch the skies in Nevada. In 2024, fans enjoyed the biopic Better Man , which explored Robbie’s life and reimagined the singer as a troubled chimpanzee, as well as a four-part documentary about Robbie’s career.<\/p>\n
