Bournemouth<\/a> midfielder Alex Scott has rejected a new contract with growing Premier League interest in the England Under-21 international.<\/p>\n

The Cherries have made it a summer priority to tie Scott down to fresh terms but as things stand there is no agreement.<\/p>\n

The development comes amid interest from Arsenal<\/a>, Manchester United<\/a>, Tottenham<\/a>, Manchester City<\/a> and Chelsea<\/a>.<\/p>\n

BBC Sport reported in June<\/a> that Arsenal<\/a> saw an approach for Scott turned down by Bournemouth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old, who joined Bournemouth<\/a> from Bristol City in 2023 for \u00a325m<\/a>, has two years left on his current deal with the Premier League side.<\/p>\n

Scott was selected in his first England squad last November<\/a> and was then called up into Thomas Tuchel’s extended pre-World Cup training camp in Florida but is yet make an appearance at senior international level.<\/p>\n

In a busy Premier League midfielder market this summer, Nottingham Forest<\/a>‘s Elliot Anderson<\/a> and Aston Villa<\/a>‘s Morgan Rogers<\/a>, are set to complete moves to Manchester City<\/a> and Chelsea<\/a> for \u00a3116m and \u00a3117m respectively.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Tottenham<\/a> have spent \u00a3100m on Newcastle<\/a>‘s Sandro Tonali<\/a> and \u00a385m on West Ham’s Mateus Fernandes.<\/a><\/p>\n

Scott joined Bristol City from Guernsey FC<\/a> in 2020, going on to make 91 appearances for the Championship side in all competitions.<\/p>\n

Having been named the division’s young player of the season in 2022-23, he joined Bournemouth<\/a> where he has made 89 appearances and scored six goals.<\/p>\n
