Emmerdale’s Serena Sugden<\/a> makes another risky move next week, when she breaks in to Home Farm again. The mysterious newcomer returns to the scene of the crime \u2013 but what exactly is she looking for?<\/p>\n

Ever since her arrival last month, its been clear that Serena has been on a secret mission<\/a>, with John Sugden at the forefront of her enquiries. It was later revealed that Serena actually knew John and had lied about the last time she saw him.<\/p>\n

After making a hasty exit last week, Serena returned in yesterday’s episode when she broke in to Home Farm<\/a>. She swiped a mysterious USB stick from Kim Tate’s mansion and fled before being caught. <\/p>\n

In upcoming episodes, Serena is disappointed to discover the USB stick doesn’t contain what she was looking for. She relays the news on a phone call with an unknown person and decides to sneak back in for a second attempt. <\/p>\n

However, unbeknownst to the former police officer, someone else is also creeping around Home Farm, and she soon comes face to face with Kev Barton’s dodgy friend Steve<\/a> who is trying to rob the place. <\/p>\n

The pair barely have time to point the finger at each other when Head of Operations Ross Barton arrives on the scene and they are forced to hide. After failing to locate the intruder last time, Ross is determined to catch them in the act. But will he succeed? <\/p>\n

“Kim really needs to improve her security after this spate of break-ins,” points out our Emmerdale source. “This is Serena’s second incident sneaking around Home Farm, and now criminal Steve is having a go too.<\/p>\n

“Serena and Steve could become the keeper of each other’s secrets after catching each other out \u2013 if Ross doesn’t rumble them, that is…”
