Animation<\/p>\n<p>Following a trailer for the overall trilogy a month ago, Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and DC Studios have unveiled the trailer for the first part of the upcoming animated adaptation of the \u201cBatman: Knightfall\u201d saga.<\/p>\n<p>This adapts the first part of the famed three-part comic storyline from 1993-1994.  It begins when Arkham Asylum has been destroyed, and all its inmates have been unleashed upon Gotham City.<\/p>\n<p>As Batman races to round up some of his greatest enemies, he is pushed to his physical and mental limits and into a final confrontation with a new threat: a ruthless and super steroid-enhanced genius called Bane who orchestrates a campaign to physically and psychologically exhaust Batman before confronting him.<\/p>\n<p>The key cast includes \u201cHell on Wheels\u201d and \u201cStar Trek: Strange New Worlds\u201d star Anson Mount as Batman\/Bruce Wayne, \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d and \u201cFar Cry 3\u201d game villain Michael Mando as Bane, and \u201cThe Wire\u201d and \u201cHalo\u201d alum Pablo Schreiber as Azrael.<\/p>\n<p>Jeff Wamester directs, and Jeremy Adams pens this first film \u2018Knightfall\u2019 which arrives on digital on August 25th.<\/p>\n<p>The second and third parts, \u2018Knightquest\u2019 and \u2018KnightsEnd\u2019, will be released at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>Previous article<a href=\"https:\/\/www.darkhorizons.com\/second-teaser-trailer-kids-horror-buddy\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Second Teaser Trailer: Kids Horror \u201cBuddy\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next article<a href=\"https:\/\/www.darkhorizons.com\/final-trailer-spider-man-brand-new-day\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Final Trailer: \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Warner Bros.
