{"id":561482,"date":"2026-07-21T22:28:10","date_gmt":"2026-07-21T22:28:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/561482\/"},"modified":"2026-07-21T22:28:10","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T22:28:10","slug":"west-ham-al-hilal-agree-68m-crysencio-summerville-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/561482\/","title":{"rendered":"West Ham: Al-Hilal agree \u00a368m Crysencio Summerville deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Saudi club Al-Hilal have agreed a deal worth \u00a360m to sign winger Crysencio Summerville from West Ham.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The Netherlands international, 24, has clearance to undergo a medical after a deal worth an initial \u00a355m and a further \u00a35m in add-ons was accepted by the Hammers on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">West Ham had previously rejected an offer in the region of \u00a340m for Summerville, who was also reportedly a target for Aston Villa, but a move to the Riyadh-based club is now expected. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">It would be a substantial windfall for relegated West Ham, who also sold midfielder Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham for \u00a385m last month but announced their other key attacker, Jarrod Bowen, is staying on an adjusted contract in the Championship. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The Hammers were relegated from the Premier League in May and have been looking to cut their wage bill and raise funds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">They have opted to keep manager Nuno Espirito Santo on as they bid to earn promotion back to the top flight during their 2026-27 campaign.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Saudi club Al-Hilal have agreed a deal worth \u00a360m to sign winger Crysencio Summerville from West Ham.
