The Australian pop superstar is everywhere right now \u2014 on the airwaves, on our screens, strutting red carpets on the awards circuit, and beaming for an on-stage collaboration with Snow Patrol<\/a> in South London, the official video for which is now live.<\/p>\n

\n\tKylie joined forces with Gary Lightbody and Co. at their sold-out concert July 3 at Crystal Palace\u00a0Park. There, they delivered the debut performance of \u201cThese Alarms,\u201d which officially dropped July 1 on streaming platforms, the first through the band\u2019s new deal with BMG<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe on-stage collaboration was the first time\u00a0Snow\u00a0Patrol\u00a0and\u00a0Kylie\u00a0were able to meet in-person, reps say.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the night, the \u201cSpinning Around\u201d singer stuck around for a performance of \u201cChasing Cars,\u201d Snow Patrol\u2019s biggest U.S. hit, which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2006, after its inclusion in the teary season 2 finale of Grey\u2019s Anatomy.<\/p>\n

\n\tSnow Patrol wrote the new song with Minogue in mind, and recorded it for their 2024 U.K. No. 1 album\u00a0The Forest is the Path, their second leader,\u00a0with the working title\u00a0\u201cKYLIE.\u201d On completion, the band decided to hold back the track until they could record it with the Aussie artist.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe story behind this song was irresistible,\u201d Kylie comments in a statement. \u201cHearing there was a demo called\u00a0\u2018KYLIE\u2019 that had been living in the\u00a0Snow\u00a0Patrol\u00a0archives was a complete surprise and, naturally, I was curious to hear it. Gary is such a brilliant songwriter, so to be invited into the band\u2019s world is a total honor.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Northern Irish\u2013Scottish rock band this year celebrates the\u00a020th anniversary\u00a0of their hit fourth album, Eyes Open, which logged three weeks at No. 1 in the U.K. and went on to become the market\u2019s biggest album of 2006. Eyes Open has shifted more than 2.6 million units in the U.K. including 2.4 million pure sales, the OCC reports.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this month, the band was the first recipient of the Official Charts Hall of Fame Award, a new honor to be presented\u00a0annually in recognition of\u00a0official\u00a0biggest single and album of the year.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Crystal Palace\u00a0shoot was led by director of photography Daniel Broadley, whose credits include directing Sam Fender & Olivia Dean\u2019s \u201cRein Me In\u201d video, and the Oasis (Live \u201925) concert series.<\/p>\n
