{"id":562173,"date":"2026-07-22T08:05:06","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T08:05:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/562173\/"},"modified":"2026-07-22T08:05:06","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T08:05:06","slug":"noise-before-chaos-stayed-with-passenger-partially-sucked-out-of-ryanair-plane","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/562173\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Noise before chaos\u2019 stayed with passenger partially sucked out of Ryanair plane"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A passenger who was partially sucked out of a window during a Ryanair flight said \u201cthe noise before the chaos\u201d is his main memory of the ordeal.<\/p>\n<p>Ljubisa Karovic, 61, suffered neck and shoulder injuries after the window broke during the flight from the Greek city of Thessaloniki to Memmingen near Munich, Germany, on July 10th.<\/p>\n<p>The Serbian businessman told The Guardian: \u201cThe explosion is what I remember. It\u2019s the noise before the chaos, the noise that is always there when I close my eyes to sleep.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fellow passengers held on to Mr Karovic and pulled him back in, although he remembers very little of the incident.<\/p>\n<p>    Maybe it is fate. I believe in God and I thank him every day<\/p>\n<p>            Ljubisa Karovic<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am lucky,\u201d he said. \u201cMy head and neck still hurt, but I am alive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt could have been the seatbelt, the fact that I was still strapped in. But maybe it is fate.
