\n\tThe tech mogul wrote on his social media service X that his AI tool Grok Imagine<\/a> would create a \u201cfull-length\u201d feature version of Homer\u2019s Greek myth. <\/p>\n

\n\tGiven that Homer\u2019s story is a work of fiction, its questionable how \u201chistorically accurate\u201d any remake can be, but X and Tesla owner Musk has repeatedly questioned the casting of Nolan\u2019s picture over recent months. <\/p>\n

\n\tMusk has called out Lupita Nyong\u2019o\u2019s casting as Helen of Troy and supported transphobic posts about Elliot Page, who was initially rumored to be playing Achilles only to later cast as Sinon.<\/p>\n

\n\tMusk also said he was \u201cdown\u201d to give Mel Gibson $100 million to film an Odyssey adaptation that would be \u201cdelivered in Homeric Greek\u201d in response to a message from an X user. <\/p>\n

\n\tDespite Musk\u2019s opprobrium, two-time Oscar winner Nolan\u2019s Odyssey has been a huge box office hit globally and looks set to become the British director\u2019s highest-grossing film. A recent global count pegged the take at $263.7M<\/a>, with a huge $20M projection for Tuesday<\/a> set to grow that further.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Odyssey stars the likes of Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Nyong\u2019o, Page, Jon Bernthal, Charlize Theron, Samantha Morton and John Leguizamo.
