Former All Blacks star Justin Marshall has taken aim at Ireland<\/a> over their complaints about some of the decisions which did not go their way at the weekend.<\/p>\n

Some Irish pundits and fans were left unhappy over a couple of big calls which did not go their way during the Nations Championship clash.<\/p>\n

In the first half, with New Zealand 14-0 ahead, Luke Jacobson was yellow-carded for a dangerous clearout on Josh van der Flier.<\/p>\n

It went to the bunker for a review, but it was not upgraded to a 20-minute red card, which meant that Jacobson was able to return.<\/p>\n

No yellow card for Tupaea<\/p>\n

They were also left frustrated when Quinn Tupaea was not sin-binned, with the referee stating that there wasn\u2019t an obvious line break opportunity after penalising the centre for a deliberate knock-on.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to throw myself under the bus here, but I like doing that. They\u2019ve turned into a pack of whingers, to be honest,\u201d Marshall said on the GBRANZ podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust more recently [they\u2019ve turned into whingers]. They feel like their performance wasn\u2019t up to standard, but it\u2019s everyone else\u2019s fault.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve been blaming a couple of decisions within the game to go, \u2018we were ripped off, the All Blacks cheated, they always get the favourable decisions go their way, particularly at Eden Park\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was this and there was that but, mate, we didn\u2019t make you drop the ball f*****g 15 times. You know how many tackles they fell off?<\/p>\n

\u201cBut they go straight towards, \u2018Quinn Tupaea, it should have been a yellow card and Jacobson should have been red.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know what guys, sort out your own s*** first and don\u2019t blame everyone else.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ireland\u2019s errors<\/p>\n

Ireland did reduce the arrears to 14-7 when Jacobson was off the field but then proceeded to hand the All Blacks an easy try while the hosts were still down to 14 men.<\/p>\n

That restored New Zealand\u2019s 14-point buffer and Dave Rennie\u2019s men would go on to record a comfortable 40-21 success at Eden Park.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re moaning about Jacobson, but at the stage Jacobson was in the bin, they tried to run out of their own half. They were clunky like they were all night because the All Blacks put their pod system under pressure and stuffed up their block play. Will Jordan picks it up, and they give the All Blacks seven points.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can\u2019t blame anyone else for that apart from yourselves; you\u2019ve just given that away, off the back of scoring a try yourself and the All Blacks down a man.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou throw it along the ground and Will Jordan basically will never, ever score an easier try in his life. It\u2019s your fault so stop trying to look for excuses everywhere else, just look yourself in the mirror Ireland.\u201d<\/p>\n
