Seth Meyers<\/a> discussed Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s most recent comments on the World Cup, including his claim that players don\u2019t work hard enough.<\/p>\n

On Late Night, the host spoke about a social media post from the US president where he thanked Rudy Giuliani\u2019s son, Andrew, for helping to organise the tournament in the US.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was already the biggest sporting event in the world,\u201d Meyers pointed out. \u201cIt\u2019s not like he sold 7m pickleball tickets.\u201d<\/p>\n

This week has also seen Trump engaging in a photo opportunity with the most recent Little League softball champions in the White House. \u201cWow, still chasing<\/a> that World Cup final high, huh?\u201d Meyers said.<\/p>\n

After wildfires led to air quality issues<\/a> over the past week in parts of the US, Trump took to social media to criticise Canada for failing to take preventative measures. In a post, he said<\/a> the \u201ccost is incalculable\u201d.<\/p>\n

Meyers quipped: \u201cSo he didn\u2019t write that post.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump has also said that he wishes he could switch places with Cristiano Ronaldo, as he believes that his life is much easier than his. He said he would like to switch for about a month or so.<\/p>\n

Meyers joked: \u201c\u2018Or longer\u2019, yelled Melania.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cWatching Ronaldo run full-speed up and down a soccer pitch and you\u2019re like, \u2018That guy doesn\u2019t work as hard as President Trump.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

This week has also seen the American Heart Association claim<\/a> that five cups of coffee is a safe amount for someone to have in one day. Meyers showed a picture of Trump<\/a> sleeping<\/a> and joked \u201cbut you know, maybe start with one\u201d.<\/p>\n

A study also showed that 34% people who choose to eat in their car tend to pick easier and more convenient food options. \u201cThat makes sense, it\u2019s probably not the time or the place for tapas,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

A German man has also broken a Guinness World Record this week after popping 60 balloons in 30 seconds using a plunger. \u201cSo the toilet is still clogged?\u201d Meyers joked that his wife then said.<\/p>\n

Trump has also claimed that he is \u201cNo 1\u201d on TikTok. \u201c\u2018Guess again, bitch,\u2019 said Jimothy,\u201d Meyers said referencing the Seattle raccoon<\/a> who has recently gone viral.<\/p>\n
