Returning comedy series Iain Stirling’s Roast The Internet has confirmed its season two line-up, with a number of Taskmaster favourites set to take part. The titular Love Island star’s show began last year, and it sees the comedian and guests take aim at bad online content.<\/p>\n

Each episode includes three guest comics, plus “jaw-dropping and hilarious clips”, exclusive stand-up performances”, “exciting up-and-comers”, and “cameos from iconic internet personalities”.<\/p>\n

Among those announced for season two are Taskmaster alums Desiree Burch, Ivo Graham, Katherine Ryan, Lou Sanders, Lucy Beaumont, Sara Pascoe, Guz Khan, Joel Dommett, Sophie Willan, and Stevie Martin.<\/p>\n

Also on board are AJ Odudu, Catherine Bohart, Chloe Burrows, Danny Beard, Eddie Kadi, Jameela Jamil, Jonathan Ross, Laura Smyth, Oti Mabuse, Sean McLoughlin, Sikisa, Thanyia Moore, and Will Best. Additionally, fans can expect guest turns from Huge Davies and Ken Cheng in the upcoming second season.<\/p>\n

“I’m absolutely buzzing to bring Roast the Internet back for a second series on Comedy Central UK,” Iain said. <\/p>\n

“The internet is really becoming a thing these days \u2013 I think everyone will be using it soon! \u2013 which means there’s lots of chaos to dive into and absolutely no shortage of nonsense to tear apart.”<\/p>\n

Further teasing how the new season will differ from the first, Iain added: “I think we’ve definitely got better at finding the more niche stuff and the hidden gems, like older couples who go on cruises and a woman who’s built a mineshaft underneath her house.<\/p>\n

“Basically, stuff you might’ve missed when you’ve been doomscrolling in your spare time. This is going to be a lot more in-depth; this is the really good stuff.”<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the Taskmaster world, fans can now catch season 19<\/a>, which is dubbed “one of the best” in the show’s history and features Stevie in its line-up. The episodes see her compete against Mathew Baynton, Jason Mantzoukas, Fatiha El-Ghorri, and Rosie Ramsey.<\/p>\n
