Lara Trump has confessed to using AI to edit a photo after eagle-eyed fans spotted an awkward editing blunder.<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old attended Sunday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup<\/a> Final at MetLife Stadium with multiple other members of the Trump family, including her husband Eric Trump, their two children, and several relatives, before posting a series of snaps from the major sporting event on Instagram.<\/p>\n

One particular selfie, featuring Lara<\/a> alongside her six-year-old daughter Carolina and sister-in-law Tiffany Trump, quickly drew attention for all the wrong reasons. The picture showed the trio cuddled together in the stands as they smiled for the camera, with both Lara and Tiffany sporting oversized sunglasses while enjoying the match. It comes after Lara\u2019s boast about her father-in-law Donald backfired<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, fans were quick to spot that something looked off. In the image, the straw sticking out of Carolina’s drink appeared to stretch an unusually long distance, while Lara’s fingers and nails also looked strange. Rather than ignoring the comments, Lara addressed the editing mishap and admitted artificial intelligence was responsible for the bizarre changes.<\/p>\n

Taking to her Instagram Stories, she shared the image again and explained exactly what had happened.<\/p>\n

“When AI takes over… the app I used to fit this in the frame changed my nails and made Carolina’s straw SOOO long,” she wrote in white text over the photo, accompanied by a smiling emoji with a tear running down its cheek.<\/p>\n

The image was just one of several Lara uploaded from the World Cup Final as the Trump family gathered to watch one of the biggest sporting events of the year. She also shared a family portrait showing herself and Eric posing with their two children in the stands before kick-off, while other pictures captured her smiling alongside sisters-in-law Tiffany, Ivanka Trump and Bettina Trump.<\/p>\n

The photos also featured brothers-in-law Donald Trump<\/a> Jr., Jared Kushner and Michael Boulos, as the extended family enjoyed the occasion together. Another snap showed Lara and Eric with their arms wrapped around each other’s waists as they looked out across the stadium toward the pitch before the match got underway.<\/p>\n

President Donald Trump also attended the match alongside First Lady Melania Trump and their son Barron Trump, with the trio watching from a separate hospitality box to the rest of the family.<\/p>\n

Spain were crowned 2026 World Cup champions after securing a dramatic 1-0 victory over Argentina in extra time, with fights breaking out after the final whistle as the Argentinian squad struggled to accept their defeat.<\/p>\n
