Here\u2019s what\u2019s new.<\/p>\n<p>Apple releases iPadOS 27 public beta 2 alongside more beta updates<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"654\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/public-beta-devices.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1060532\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier this week Apple shipped developer beta 4 for iOS 27, macOS Golden Gate, iPadOS 27, and more. Now today, those same software builds have debuted for public beta testers too.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Public beta 2 is rolling out now for iPadOS 27, tvOS 27, HomePod 27, and more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can enroll in Apple\u2019s public beta program at <a href=\"https:\/\/beta.apple.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">beta.apple.com<\/a>. It\u2019s free to sign up, and grants access to pre-release builds of this fall\u2019s major new software updates.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After enrolling per the instructions on Apple\u2019s beta website, you\u2019ll be able to install the new software via the Software Update section inside Settings on your devices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today\u2019s latest round of betas includes a <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2026\/07\/20\/heres-whats-new-with-ios-27-beta-4\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">variety of new changes<\/a> compared to public beta 1. These include:<\/p>\n<p>Apple TV app gains a <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2026\/07\/20\/ios-27-beta-4-adds-a-useful-apple-tv-app-feature-heres-how-it-works\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new \u2018Automatic Downloads\u2019 option<\/a> so you always have the latest episodes of your favorite shows available offline<\/p>\n<p>Siri app lets you customize how many lines of preview text are displayed for each previous chat<\/p>\n<p>Control Center now lets you personalize Adaptive mode for AirPods to your liking<\/p>\n<p>Photos adds a \u2018Zoom Photos to Fill\u2019 setting<\/p>\n<p>Plus additional bug fixes, refinements, and new splash screens for features like Siri AI and system apps<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019re running the developer betas from Monday, nothing has changed since then. Apple just typically spaces out the release of developer and public betas by a day or more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This staggered release pattern ensures that if any major issues are discovered in a developer beta, Apple can implement fixes before the wider public beta ships.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have you discovered anything new in developer beta 4 or public beta 2 of iPadOS 27 or another update?
