Jennifer Aniston<\/a> is a fan of Courteney Cox<\/a>‘s career pivot.<\/p>\n In fact, she applauded her Friends costar’s work as a director and producer on Evil Genius\u2014an upcoming crime thriller starring Cox’s former sister-in-law Patricia Arquette based on the Netflix docuseries of the same name\u2014after it was added to the Toronto International Film Festival lineup.<\/p>\n Re-sharing a post from Cox<\/a> about the movie, Aniston wrote on Instagram Story July 21 alongside emojis of red hearts and clapping hands, “My girl!”<\/p>\n “So proud of you!!” the 57-year-old continued in the comments section of the Cox’s post, which her friend captioned, “When you really believe in something\u2026 don\u2019t ever give up. Dreams can come true.”<\/p>\n Indeed, the Morning Show star has been a longtime champion of Cox. As she put it during the 62-year-old’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in 2023, “To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney.”<\/p>\n “She is responsible for all of that,” Aniston continued in a speech with their Friends castmate Lisa Kudrow<\/a>. “From the beginning of when we met her, she was immediately inclusive, warm, loving, interested in everything about you.”<\/p>\n
