In tonight’s episode of Coronation Street, tensions surrounding Betsy’s situation<\/a> continue to rise. Can Lauren convince her best friend to give a statement to the police about Dylan?<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Maria faces her own big police decision now that she knows the full story about Theo’s murder<\/a>.<\/p>\n

1. Lauren upsets Betsy\"betsy<\/p>\n

When Betsy needs the loo in hospital and none of the staff are around to help her, Lauren steps in to assist her instead. Betsy feels embarrassed about needing help from her best friend like this, but Lauren points out that she has no reason to feel ashamed.<\/p>\n

The warm moment between the pair soon turns sour, though, when Lauren urges Betsy to tell the police what Dylan did. Betsy refuses to get Dylan into any more trouble with the law, but Lauren sees the situation very differently. With the friends at a stalemate, it’s another upsetting moment for Betsy.<\/p>\n

2. Kit needs Adam’s help\"kit<\/p>\n

Kit is taking sole responsibility for bringing up Harry now that Sarah is in prison. When Adam spots Kit struggling at the caf\u00e9, he steps in to offer some help.<\/p>\n

Adam also promises Kit that he’s there to give parenting advice if it’s needed, since he knows Harry well from his past marriage to Sarah. It’s not long before Kit swallows his pride and takes Adam up on the offer!<\/p>\n

3. Maria’s torn after her false alibi\"gary,<\/p>\n

Maria warns Gary that she’ll have to retract the false alibi she gave him for the night of Theo’s murder, as she could soon find herself in serious trouble for lying. Gary points out that Sarah has promised to keep his name out of it, but Maria reckons it’s doubtful that she’ll stick to this.<\/p>\n

In the end, Maria decides to keep quiet and hope that the police won’t catch her out for lying \u2013 but how will Gary feel when she voices her heartbreaking theory that he loves Sarah more than her?<\/p>\n

4. Todd gives away Theo’s life insurance\"christina,<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Theo’s life insurance payment comes through and Todd still feels uncertain about what he should do with the money.<\/p>\n

While skint George and Christina hope for some generosity from Todd, he soon leaves them shocked with the big announcement that he’s given the whole lot away to Theo’s kids.<\/p>\n

5. Ben gives Ollie a hard time\"ollie<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Ben discovers that Ollie has missed out on the restaurant job in Brighton because he hesitated for too long after it was offered to him.<\/p>\n

The Rovers boss accuses his son of dawdling on purpose because he didn’t want to take a risk in life. Fortunately, there’s another opportunity on the horizon when Leanne asks if Ollie would like to become Speed Daal’s new permanent chef.<\/p>\n
