Katy Perry<\/a> is bringing her \u2018Lifetimes\u2019 concert film to screen across 150 cinemas in the UK, following the tour raising over \u00a380k for the Music Venue Trust.<\/p>\n

Dubbed the Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour \u2013 Live from Paris, the concert film will be launching in cinemas and on IMAX globally across 70 countries on September 2, and showing in the UK & Ireland, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, France, Australia and more.<\/p>\n

For the UK alone, over 150 cinemas will be showing it for a a limited time only, and tickets will be on sale from next Thursday (July 30). Visit here<\/a> for tickets.<\/p>\n

The footage was filmed two sold-out nights in Paris last November as Perry embarked on her \u2018Lifetimes Tour<\/a>\u2019, and captured with a 60-camera set-up. Across the set, Perry broke out a stacked setlist featuring fan-favourites like \u2018Teenage Dream\u2019, \u2018California Gurls\u2019, \u2018Dark Horse\u2019, \u2018Roar\u2019, \u2018Firework\u2019 and \u2018The One That Got Away\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cKaty Perry\u2019s \u2018Lifetimes Tour\u2019 was larger than life and this film captures every ounce of the concert\u2014 reimagined to feel as if you\u2019re at a tour stop,\u201d said Kymberli Frueh, EVP of Content Acquisitions and Programming, Trafalgar Releasing. \u201cThis cinema release gives new and returning KatyCats\u2014a chance to experience the moment, the way it was meant to be seen\u2014with other fans, on the biggest screen possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u2018Lifetimes Tour\u2019 sold over one million tickets across 91 shows in 23 countries, and ran for just under eight months. It kicked off in Mexico City on April 23, included six historic performances in China, and wrapped up in Abu Dhabi on December 7.<\/p>\n

Along the way, the tour also supported charitable causes<\/a>, with $264,814 (\u00a3198,124) donated to Perry\u2019s own Firework Foundation<\/a> in the US \u2013 which works to give children from underprivileged areas access to arts \u2013 and \u00a381,918 ($109,128) donated to Music Venue Trust<\/a> in the UK, which supports grassroots venues and emerging talent.<\/p>\n

The 132-minute feature film is directed by Paul Dugdale, produced by 10 Lives Studios\u2019 Daniel E. Catullo III, and features exclusive behind-the-scenes bonus content as well as footage of the live show.<\/p>\n

Support for the MVT came at a vital time, as it was recently confirmed that 30 grassroots venues were lost forever between July 2024 and July 2025<\/a>, and last year alone saw more than half of those remaining making no profit and over 6,000 jobs lost.<\/p>\n

For years now, there has been pressure for the UK\u2019s smaller venues and rising artists to receive a contribution from arena and stadium gigs to ensure their survival<\/a>. The model \u2013 already in use in several countries across Europe similar to the one seen in the Premier League of football \u2013 was given the government\u2019s backing back in 2024<\/a>, but many are not still paying into the system.
