EastEnders\u2019 Sharon Watts can\u2019t believe her ears<\/a> next week, when loose-lipped Elaine Peacock reveals some information that makes her question everything! But what exactly is it that Sharon has discovered? <\/p>\n

As she catches up with Kat in The Vic, Sharon can\u2019t help but notice best pal Linda sharing an intimate lunch with new love interest Clive<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Later, Sharon and some other gal pals tease Linda about her fella as she agrees to go on another date with him – but as the pair flirt, Linda\u2019s mum Elaine lets slip a careless comment that sets alarm bells ringing for Sharon!<\/p>\n

“What Elaine reveals is a mystery for now, but it makes the cogs start to turn in Sharon\u2019s head,” reveals our Walford insider.<\/p>\n

“Whatever it is that Sharon hears clearly leaves her rattled, and she decides that she must get to the bottom of things and find out the truth – no matter how confronting it may be\u2026”<\/p>\n

With Elaine\u2019s ill-timed remark still weighing heavily on her mind, Sharon seeks out answers from her ex, Phil<\/a>. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s clear that Sharon is deeply upset about what she\u2019s found out, and she\u2019s sure that – given their history – she can trust Phil to be open and honest about what it is she thinks she\u2019s uncovered.<\/p>\n

But will Phil be willing to share everything he knows with Sharon? And if so, what will Sharon do with the information? <\/p>\n

EastEnders confirmed Sharon’s permanent <\/a>return <\/a>earlier this month, with the character then confronting Zoe in The Vic about her previous lies<\/a>. <\/p>\n

As well as spreading some gossip that stuns Sharon, Elaine also attempts to support her ex-husband George next week when she notices he is struggling.<\/p>\n

George\u2019s secret guilt about watching his evil dad Eddie die in front of him<\/a> is causing issues in his relationship with Nicola, so Elaine reaches out to make sure he is OK. <\/p>\n

However, this intervention leads to another row between George and Nicola due to a misunderstanding, with Suki and Eve then facing the wrath of a furious Nicola<\/a> afterwards.<\/p>\n

As relations between the couple grow more fractured than ever, George drowns his sorrows while visiting his mum Gloria\u2019s grave. He ends up confiding in Eve, who finds him on a bench in a drunken state.<\/p>\n

But as Eve offers a listening ear, will George admit just why he\u2019s so distraught and reveal his shocking bombshell?<\/p>\n

EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.<\/p>\n
