{"id":565159,"date":"2026-07-24T01:22:19","date_gmt":"2026-07-24T01:22:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/565159\/"},"modified":"2026-07-24T01:22:19","modified_gmt":"2026-07-24T01:22:19","slug":"engineering-group-entegro-to-create-100-jobs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/565159\/","title":{"rendered":"Engineering group Entegro to create 100 jobs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Irish engineering group Entegro has announced the acquisition of renewable energy company ACEL Energy.<\/p>\n<p>The deal will see Entegro form a new entity, Entegro Energy, and will see it increase its workforce from 200 to closer to 300 over the coming years.<\/p>\n<p>Entegro said the new entity will bring complementary capabilities under one roof and provide services including the design, commission and operation of power systems and storage at scale.<\/p>\n<p>The company said it will also build on its established partnership with high and medium-voltage engineering company Nahanagan Electrical.<\/p>\n<p>Revenue at Entegro has grown to over \u20ac60m, with plans to take the company to over \u20ac100m in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The board and I welcome the ACEL team to the Entegro group,&#8221; said John Rooney, Group CEO, Entegro.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is another milestone for Entegro as we continue to build a multi-utility business across telecoms, power and infrastructure to meet the demands of Ireland and beyond,&#8221; Mr Rooney said.<\/p>\n<p>Barry Sherry, Managing Director at ACEL Energy, said joining Entegro allows it to scale engineering-led renewable generation and storage.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is an exciting platform to be part of, and our commitment to our existing clients is only stronger for it,&#8221; Mr Sherry said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Irish engineering group Entegro has announced the acquisition of renewable energy company ACEL Energy.
