Tickling the ivories with a lively rendition of Chappell Roan<\/a>\u2019s hit Pink Pony Club at London\u2019s St Pancras station last week, Myleene Klass<\/a> entertained the throng of commuters as she joined the St John Ambulance campaign to teach more life-saving first aid.<\/p>\n

Dressed in the charity\u2019s distinctive green uniform, the musician and presenter beamed as her hands effortlessly danced over the piano keys.<\/p>\n

But eagle-eyed onlookers might have noticed there was one thing missing on those elegant pianist\u2019s fingers \u2013 her stunning, nine-carat diamond engagement ring.<\/p>\n

Myleene\u2019s fiance, the handsome and affable PR executive Simon Motson \u2013 with whom she has a six-year-old son Apollo \u2013 had presented her with the ring when he proposed during dinner in their north-west London garden in September 2020.<\/p>\n

The thoughtful occasion involved Simon, 50, even sourcing the same table and chairs on which the couple had sat during their first date, five years previously, at Little House private members\u2019 club in London\u2019s Mayfair. The wedding has, however, failed to materialise.<\/p>\n

Last night Myleene posted pictures on Instagram to promote her radio show on Smooth Radio and Classic FM that showed her wearing the ring.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But, intriguingly, it was the first time she had shown off that glittering rock on the page since May \u2013 when she posted images of herself in a floral gown on her way to the opera.<\/p>\n

As for Simon, he has barely appeared at all in recent months, barring photographs in July of Myleene receiving her MBE from King Charles.<\/p>\n

On recent trips to the South of France and Greece, which saw Myleene posing in a variety of bikinis, he didn\u2019t appear \u2013 prompting speculation that he didn\u2019t go with her.<\/p>\n

The 47-year-old former Hear\u2019Say singer, who rose to fame after appearing in ITV talent show Popstars in 2001, further failed to mention Simon at all during an interview with the Daily Mail last week, despite discussing her two older children Ava, 18, and Hero, 13, in great detail.<\/p>\n

It is all, sources say, \u2018a bit of a mystery\u2019.<\/p>\n

As one associate of the star tells me: \u2018That engagement ring is beautiful, it\u2019s massive, but why wouldn\u2019t you wear it?<\/p>\n

\u2018Myleene always seemed so happy with him, it all seems to be a bit of a mystery. Myleene has always been an open book, she did a big shoot with Hello magazine to reveal the engagement, she seemed so proud of her man.<\/p>\n

\u2018Now, it\u2019s like he doesn\u2019t exist, like he has disappeared off the face of the Earth. She has stopped talking about him.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n

Simon\u2019s absence comes as Myleene is embroiled in a \u2018whodunnit\u2019 row she prompted in July when she revealed that she had caught her ex-husband Graham Quinn, the father of Ava and Hero, in a clinch with another female celebrity at her birthday party in 2011.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Paul Brunson\u2019s We Need To Talk podcast, she said:<\/p>\n

\u2018I walked in on him with a famous person on my birthday on a balcony.\u2019 She continued: \u2018I\u2019m in my house, it\u2019s my party. They weren\u2019t having sex, but they were unzipping each other. \u201cIt\u2019s not what you think.\u201d But I\u2019m like, \u201cIt is what I think\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s the first thing they both said. I kicked everyone out of the party, including his mum and dad. His dad said, \u201cHe doesn\u2019t get it from me.\u201d I remember thinking that was quite a weird thing to say.\u2019<\/p>\n

The revelations prompted a huge guessing game as fans tried to work out who the unnamed female, said to be known for her \u2018family values\u2019, could be.<\/p>\n

Last weekend, I revealed that the woman in question has instructed lawyers to prevent Myleene from naming her by claiming that she is entitled to privacy.<\/p>\n

And while I know the identity of the celebrity, I cannot divulge it for legal reasons \u2013 yet.<\/p>\n

Throughout all this, Simon\u2019s low profile is perhaps understandable.<\/p>\n

\u2018Imagine being that close to the whodunnit storm,\u2019 says one source. \u2018While there is so much sympathy for Myleene, she has dragged a lot of people into this. Would she really do that to Simon?\u2019<\/p>\n

I\u2019m told that Simon\u2019s old friends can\u2019t help solve the mystery of why he \u2013 and the ring he bought her \u2013 has seemingly disappeared from Myleene\u2019s public life, as they haven\u2019t seen him for several years.<\/p>\n

Some became estranged from him after he started dating Myleene in 2015, and in 2022 I revealed that some friends \u2013 and even some of his family \u2013 feared they would not be invited to the couple\u2019s wedding, which was originally postponed due to Covid regulations.<\/p>\n

At the time, sources close to the family said they felt they had \u2018lost\u2019 Simon but had retained hope of a reconciliation in the future.<\/p>\n

But sources say Myleene has effectively done a \u2018full-on Nicola Peltz\u2019 \u2013 a pointed reference, of course, to claims that Brooklyn Beckham\u2019s American wife Nicola is to blame for the wedge driven between Brooklyn and the rest of his family. One friend said at the time: \u2018It is all very sad \u2013 families can be so complicated.<\/p>\n

\u2018It looks unlikely that some of the members of his family will be there to see him marry Myleene, which would be a huge shame.<\/p>\n

\u2018Some of those who have been closest to Simon for so many years feel like they have lost him.<\/p>\n

\u2018There are desperate hopes that there can be some making up, but at the moment that doesn\u2019t look that likely.\u2019<\/p>\n

Three years on and I\u2019m told there has been no change. Simon is still estranged from those who were once his nearest and dearest.<\/p>\n

One told me: \u2018We haven\u2019t spoken to Simon for years \u2013 it is sad.<\/p>\n

\u2018Many of Simon\u2019s friends are no fans of Myleene. We have lost contact with Simon since he has been with her. She seems to want him all to herself.\u2019<\/p>\n

As for a wedding, the last time Myleene discussed it was in October last year, when she blamed the family\u2019s hectic schedule for the failure to pin down a date.<\/p>\n
