Charli XCX<\/a> has revealed her top five songs from her back catalogue. Watch the clip below.<\/p>\n

The pop star, who released her new album \u2018Music, Fashion, Film\u2019<\/a> today (Friday July 24), shared the list during a wide-ranging interview on SPIN<\/a>\u2018s Lipps Service<\/a> podcast.<\/p>\n

Towards the end of the chat, host Scott Lipps asked her to run through her \u201ctop five Charli XCX songs of all time\u201d.<\/p>\n

She responded: \u201cOh, God. I\u2019m gonna get it wrong, I think, but\u2026 OK, one would be maybe like the first song I officially released, which is called \u2018Stay Away\u2019. It\u2019s from my [debut] album \u2018True Romance\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just love that song. I think for me it\u2019s very sentimental, just because it was the first sort of official song I put out. I still to this day kind of go back and listen to it, and I\u2019m kind of like, \u2018Wow! That was really cool\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charli went on to shout out \u2018Next Level Charli\u2019 from her 2019 self-titled album<\/a>, saying that it \u201cfeels really euphoric\u201d.<\/p>\n

Next up was the \u2018365\u2019 remix with Shygirl<\/a>, which appears on her \u2018Brat\u2019 remix record<\/a>. \u201cI really, really love that song,\u201d she said, describing it as \u201cthe ultimate party song because it\u2019s actually also kind of sad\u201d. She went on: \u201cIt\u2019s kind of about not knowing when to leave the party, which I really have an issue with.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charli then praised \u2018Track 10\u2019 from her 2017 mixtape \u2018Pop 2\u2019<\/a>, calling it \u201cone of my most favourite songs I\u2019ve ever made\u201d. She closed out the list with 2015\u2019s \u2018Vroom Vroom\u2019 \u2013 \u201cthe first song I ever made with SOPHIE<\/a>\u201c.<\/p>\n

When asked to single out a highlight from \u2018Music, Fashion, Film\u2019, Charli picked closer \u2018No One Lasts Forever\u2019 featuring David Cronenberg. \u201cI think that might be one of my most favourite songs I\u2019ve ever written,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

Charli had shared the singles \u2018Rock Music\u2019<\/a>,\u00a0\u2018SS26\u2019<\/a>, \u2018Wink Wink\u2019<\/a> and \u2018Camera\u2019<\/a> ahead of dropping \u2018Music, Fashion, Film\u2019 in full. She debuted the latter track at an intimate Brooklyn pop-up show<\/a> earlier this month, before heading to London for a tiny gig at Scala.<\/p>\n

The singer has released the B-sides \u2018I Keep On Thinking Bout You Every Single Day And Night\u2019<\/a>, \u2018Playboy Bunny\u2019<\/a> and \u2018If You Take Away The Music Then What Has She Got?\u2019<\/a>, too.<\/p>\n

Charli is set to make her headline debut at Reading & Leeds next month<\/a> before kicking off a North American arena tour with Underscores<\/a> in September. Find any remaining tickets here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In other news, the artist has talked about uniting the \u201cthree legends\u201d <\/a>John Cale, <\/a>Marc Jacobs and Martin Scorsese on the cover art for \u2018Music, Fashion, Film\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n
