The gunman is caught on camera as he shoots at the house<\/p>\n

This is the shocking moment a gunman opened fire on a property in Co Clare<\/a> while a number of people were asleep inside.<\/p>\n

Garda\u00ed<\/a> are continuing to investigate the shooting<\/a>, which took place in the D\u00fan Na Hinse area of Ennis on Friday and left three people hospitalised.<\/p>\n

Footage obtained by The Irish Mirror<\/a> shows the gunman attacking the house in the early hours of Friday morning.<\/p>\n

The footage shows the hooded gunman, who is dressed in a black tracksuit, approaching the house at around 7am.<\/p>\n

The gunman was filmed firing a total of four shots at the property in the early morning attack<\/p>\n

The gunman is seen to be holding a shotgun \u2013 and fires two shots from the weapon at close range towards the downstairs front window.<\/p>\n

The gunman then reloads the shotgun and fires two further shots through the front door before fleeing the scene.<\/p>\n

Garda\u00ed and National Ambulance Service paramedics responded to the incident and a man in his 50s was rushed to University Hospital Limerick (UHL), where he is being treated for injuries which are currently believed to be non-life threatening.<\/p>\n

Two other people who were in the house at the time of the shooting were removed from the scene and taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.<\/p>\n

The house was sealed off on Friday as garda\u00ed carried out a technical examination of the scene.<\/p>\n

No arrests have been made and a garda spokesperson said investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n
